Definition :: An Indonesian community website that provides collaborative support for any InSIM organization related information, news, forums, events, gatherings, and alumni updates.

Definisi :: Komunitas website para pelajar Indonesia di SIM yang berfungsi untuk menyediakan informasi berita, forum, acara-acara tentang re­uni alumni bagi para membernya.

Objective :: To build a foundation place for our InSIM community by acting as a primary repository portal, enables collaboration with all kind of information across organization members that will enhance our sense of unite and integrity through one banner - InSIM.org

Registration

1. Please complete website registration by providing these following data(s)

1.1 Given Name
* First name first, Last name last. (Garbage In, Garbage Out.)
1.2 Username
* Username must not violate and under any circumstances, comply to the InSIM rules and regulations.
1.3 Authenticated Email Address
* Needed for activating your membership with InSIM Community portal
1.4 Password
* Needed for logging on our site.

2.  Please wait around 1-10 minutes (depends on your mail provider) for our email to arrive at your mailbox.

3. After receiving our email, click on the provided link to fully activate your account. (if the link didn't appear within 10minutes, kindly check your *SPAM* inbox)

4. Voila! Registration complete and you're done!

** Due to numerous people saying that the activation link wasn't at their mailbox (nor at spambox), and in response to this particular matter, the Email activation link is therefore eliminated. New community member can login directly after the registration has been completed. (Added
CAPTCHA layer instead, and this procedure may be changed in the near future) **

Posting

As a member of InSIM Community, you're allowed to contribute and submit related news categories and/or stories to the community; but whether it's appropriate or not, submitted news/stories are also subjected to the community administrator's approval.

Once your news/stories has been approved by the community admin, your stories may or may not be placed on the front page, depending on certain circumstances. Please don't be discouraged because your submitted items will be placed on the "Latest News" for a certain period of time, also, your submitted items will have a chance of getting on the "Most Popular" sites as the content rating is enabled.

We hope that you can express your writnig potential to the fullest through using this website. Hope you can become a good writer for both in English / Indonesian and last but not least, do spread the words and enjoy surfing our very own community website!

InSIM Forum

Registered member has the privileges of posting on the InSIM community forum. Posting on the forum requires no approval of the admin as it will be reflected instantly on the thread listed. However, the administrator or moderator of related forum discussion site have the right to lock or ban any irrelevant content, subject to the InSIM rules and regulations.

Any suggestions, feedbacks or bugs report are greatly appreciated.

Alumni

Alumni Module (BETA) is available to those registered members that has accomplished their education in SIM. Registered members can voluntarily add their profile, information and other related components/links into the system.

Gallery

InSIM Gallery provides you with a full insight of how our people gather up and having fun together as a community. Every InSIM related event that occurs either indoor / outdoor, some pictures will be taken and uploaded to the system.

Selected gallery pictures will be available for download (need a request) and for your information, registered members may also put their pictures on their own Profile Gallery, it gives you flexibility to put any pictures you want, however, fixed amount of storage is applied. As a registered members, you may also request your picture to be placed on the official gallery instead, but please be reminded that the database repository has its limitations. :)

Calendar

Event calendar is useful to have a glance on what's going on at the point of time, you can navigate through the calendar as one of each event has a particular link to the news / article that has been posted earlier on the front page / other categories.

The calendar itself shows what's relevant and most probably official organization events, eventhough an inofficial events such as BBQ, or clubbing events sometimes may occur.
